After shutting down his monthly art, music & fashion event welcome to the plastic factory, Rick Spent the first 1/2 of the year hosting parties for bands like The Yeah, Yeah, Yeahs, Franz Ferdinand, and The Moving Units at his loft in downtown LA . He was also working feverishly on recording his first full length release since The Rattled Roosters' Retro-Spex. Of the 20 songs he, with producer Stefan Sigerson, tracked, 10 have been selected for At the End of Sunset available on CD now.
Rick also recorded his song" Messiah Complex" and a rendition of "Amazing Grace" for the independent feature Jesus Is Coming The Film written & directed by Edward Donato that is now available on DVD.
Rick was asked to tour to Houston Texas with Hollywood art-pop duo The C as their guitar slinging sideman for the Superbowl "Super Bash" Street Festival with Sammy Hagar and Eve 6.
After shutting down the loft Rick relocated to New York City and now plays weekly in “uber-hip” Williamsburg at a night called WhiskeyBreath where he is at the center of a growing scene of talented songwriters with Rock 'n' Roll hearts. click HERE for a review in the Village Broadsheet about WhiskeyBreath.
