Pop junky and prolific songwriter, Rick Royale, recently described as an "artist and visionary" by Vodka Magazine, has been on the cutting edge of the independent music scene since he moved from Canada to Los Angeles with his rockabilly-swing band The Rattled Roosters in the early 90's.

While his contemporaries were still swing dancing in Gap Khakis, he traded his pompadour for lipstick & leather and conceptualized the glitter-pop sensation POPism (the greatest fucking band in the world). Like a cross between the New York Dolls and a Saturday morning cartoon, POPism consistently sold-out Hollywood Hotspot Goldfinger's every week for a year, spearheading a Glam-Rock resurgence, before the band self-destructed on stage in a violent but legendary show that would be their last.

Rick then came together with a band of beautiful girls called The Royales. Their primitive, 60’s bubblegum sound, much like the Strokes with more "Sha-LA-LA" harmonies and better legs, sonically seduced California audiences by combining equal parts sex and saccharine...
